BDI Introduces New Desk Design for Popular Corridor Office Collection
New Corridor Desk is Ideally Sized for Homes and Small Offices
CHANTILLY, VA — Oct. 11, 2023 — BDI, a premiere furniture designer and manufacturer of office, bedroom, storage and entertainment solutions, has introduced the Corridor Desk, the latest addition to the company’s award-winning Corridor Office collection that offers a stylish workspace for homes and small offices.
Designed by BDI Associate Design Director Matthew Weatherly, the new Corridor 6501 desk features the collection’s signature louvered design, which complements other designs in the collection. Corridor 6501 will be on display at the Fall High Point Market in BDI’s showroom, IHFC D724.
Offering a sleek, streamlined design, the Corridor 6501 desk boasts a number of robust features including:
A dedicated wire management shelf under the desk that can house a power strip to help keep cords bundled and organized;
A full-width, flip-down keyboard/storage drawer with a fully lined surface for comfort and utility while also serving as a mousepad;
Two side compartments within the keyboard drawer to prevent smaller items from rolling around while staying close at hand;
Two side panels and a rear modesty panel for seated use;
Floor levelers to account for uneven flooring;
BDI’s proprietary and durable satin-etched glass top surface, ideal as a smooth writing surface and for computer screen glare control.

The Corridor 6501 desk measures 30” H x 60” W x 26” D and is available in Charcoal Stained Ash, Chocolate Stained Walnut and Natural Walnut finishes.
